Zaytoun
Branch
Library:
The
Egyptian
First
Lady,
the esteemed Mrs.
Suzanne
Mubarak,
inaugurated the Zaytoun
Branch
Library on March
23, 1999. This
is the first MPL
branch library, and is located in Omar
Al-Mukhtar
St.,
in Amireya.
The
building has an area of 360 square meters, and
is surrounded by a garden with an approximate
area of 1300 square meters.
Zaytoun
Branch
performs the same services and activities provided
by the Main Library, and has the same working
hours, with the exception of the acquisitions
procedures and technical processing operations,
which are performed centrally at the Main Library.
It
is worth noting that MPL
members are allowed to use both libraries, including
borrowing and returning materials to either one,
because the two libraries are linked through a
communications network.
